![]() $10,000 was approved to take part in a joint project to replace the fencing at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The plan is pending approval by the state. The town plans to recover seven of the nine parking spaces lost near Bicentennial Park by creating bump outs for the pedestrian crossing. The Town Council approved a new car for the police department as scheduled in the budget, and a RTV for the Street Department to replace a '93 pickup truck they are currently driving. The site next to the bridge is the only option which will not involve acquiring new property. At the next meeting the council hopes to select a site for the park. Council is reviewing the ordinance proposed.ĭiscussion of the proposed skate park is slated to continue. The state provides draft code and they have been working with the local fire department to make it particular to Corydon & Harrison County. Harrison is one of eleven counties in Indiana without such an ordinance. Many local businesses are dangerously out of compliance, but all they can do currently is refer the situation to the state fire marshal. is requesting the council adopt a local ordinance so that they can enforce fire code. Now review will be when either party requests and costs will be split 50/50. Revision of the Water & Sewer MOU with Tyson foods so that it no longer requires annual review.
